Understanding and being able to communicate about what we drink and brew is where we believe we should all start our coffee careers & through the 3 leveled sensory boot camps we will provide students with the tools and understanding to be able to do just that.
Whether you are a barista, roaster, green buyer, front of house or home brewer, there is value is being able to deconstruct a tasting experience and explain it to other or give feedback.
You cannot get into dialing in or cupping in an efficient way if you are not geared with the tool to effectively taste and communicate your experience with a coffee.
Over our Sensory Boot Camp we will provide participants with the tools to analyze and talk about coffee in a consistent and structured way.
Participants will leave the course with the tools and understanding to be able to:
-Confidently and efficiently describe a cup of coffee to a customer or fellow coffee professional
-Understand what separates an average cup to a good cup or excellent cup of coffee
Using these skills you will be able to take those fundamental key learnings to progress in other areas of the coffee industry and unlock other skills (dialing in espressos,making pour overs, cupping, green buying).
